5,555 Adoptable Babes Fighting For Life and Home | | Building an Adoption Fund

The high level intention of this lite paper is to outline how Adoptable Babes plans to set up an Adoption Endowment Fund that eventually is managed by a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). The paper outlines why an individual would want to help to build to the Adoptable Babes Minas Fund, the NFT utility, and how they will be used in advancing the Gospel and provide missional liquidity into the NFT space.

Adoptable Babes is built upon the confluence of two rising themes in Crypto and two in Modern Christian Missions. The two crypto themes are:

• Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

• Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

The two Modern Missions themes are:

• Using technology to advance mission

• Wealth creation leading to greater impact

All of these seismic changes are nascent. DeFi is still in its absolute infancy, as it is estimated that only 1 Million users participate in DeFi. That’s only 0.01% of the global population. Similarly, the recent growth in Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and digital collectibles demonstrates that people all over the world are willing to ascribe monetary value to digital goods.

With that being said, Adoptable Babes will take elements like staking rewards from DeFi and blend them with Adoptable Babes NFTs, and selected Solana NFTs to form a fully decentralized utility-based NFT economy.

This blends well with the development of Modern Missions across the globe. More and more Christian leaders and entrepreneurs are partnering together to use technology to advance their missions. As a result of this more and more believers are capturing the heart-beat of the parable of the Minas found in Luke 19:11-27.

In this passage of scripture a noble man is called upon to be crowned King in a distant land. As he leaves he puts money (Minas) in the hands of his servants who he charges to "Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back." (Luke. 19:13)

The servants take the charge quite literally and put their money to work to work for them. So much so that one of the servants made ten minas from the original one, stating "‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more." (Luke 19:16). This servant was then rewarded by being given authority over many cities.

There's a heavenly wealth secret here showing us that those who are able multiply wealth are given authority over regions and cities.

The confluence of these ideas and developing technologies has crafted a unique playground for the Modern Missions movement to craft the interplay between missional work, wealth creation and technology. It is in this place that Adoptable Babes, the Adoption Fund, and associated projects on our roadmap have the most impact and influence.
